 Perfect if you use water shoes Jun 08, 2009

My daughter and her friends love these uni-fins. The previous reviewer is correct - you can't get them tight enough if you have bare feet. BUT - if the child wears swim shoes (the kind with the rubber sole) the strap will grip much better, and the rubber soles of the shoes keeps the fin from coming off. Here's the kind of swim shoe I mean: Easy USA - Girls Aqua Water Shoe, Black, Royal. My daughter has used her mermaid version hundreds of times in the past two years, no problem.

This fin does not stay on the kids' feet, and when I tried to adjust it to make it tighter, the clasp broke off. Never got any water time. Not worth it. Don't buy it.
