Best out of 8 tried... Jan 24, 2009
By vegasswim I ordered eight different goggles before I signed up to a local pool.
I can confidently say that these are the best fitting, best sealing goggles of all the other Speedo models I've tried. I have a large head and the nose bridges on all the other goggles would make the eye cups press against my nose, these however have 3 removable bridges so you can size to fit.
They are comfortable, seal well and fit my head with ease.. I think I wearn a 8 3/4 or some other large size like that.
WORD OF CAUTION!!!! take the goggles and heat them up gently over a stove before you try to pry the bridge off! I snapped a pair and had to buy another before I figured this out. The bridge plastic will soften and become easy to fit on/off....do the same with the new piece.
highly recommended.

Worse in every way than the Speedo Hydrospex Biofuse Jul 27, 2010
By Carmen Sandiego These goggles are a giant step backwards for Speedo. I previously used the Hydrospex Biofuse, and loved them -the perfect goggle. Sadly, I lost my pair, only to discover that Speedo had discontinued them. The Air Seal XR goggles are worse in every way. Rather than large eye cups and fused to a nosepiece, they have much smaller eyecups and multiple swappable nosepieces to ensure fit - these are an absolute pain to swap out. The strap adjustment is flimsy, a pain to change, and much worse constructed than the biofuse. There are two straps, rather than one strap with a split at the back, meaning the fit to the head is poor and can become loose while swimming. Finally, I've found no way to dive into the pool without the goggles filling with water. I can't believe Speedo made such awful design errors on a product they should have perfected by now.

Very comfortable but out of focus May 28, 2011
By Nik Petrovich Goggles are extremely comfortable to wear. So far the best comfort. But there is one problem. Vision clarity is not clear and in the water it really gets blurry. I am not able to see timing on my watch clearly. I dont know if this is the problem with all goggles of this type or something went wrong with mine. On the other hand i purchased Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 at the same time as Speedo Air Seal XR Swim and the vision clarity is perfect. One one hand i would recommend this product very much because of the wearing comfort but the vision clarity is a big minus.

Nice pair Jul 03, 2010
By Alex I haven't really tried many pairs of goggles but I'm happy with this one. As its name suggests, it creates an air seal that really stops water from getting in. I've swum many laps wearing these goggles and I have never had any trouble with water getting in or the goggles coming off while I swim. The only "bad" thing about these is that the air seal is often so tight that it leaves marks around your eyes, but nothing major, the effect only lasts for a few minutes and they are not uncomfortable while you're wearing them.
