I take canoe trips every year, and I usually go and buy a pair of cheap water shoes from wally world every couple years. They do the job, but I've always hated the feel of jagged rocks putting all the pressure on one point of my feet. They've never been comfortable to wear.
This time, I decided to try a nicer pair and I could not be happier!
No annoying slip sole to come out with your foot (or get bunched up under it).
Sizing is perfect. I ordered my usual size, and though it takes some effort to get it on, it fits perfect (and snug around the ankle is good, so it doesn't come off in the water).
I took them for a test drive and they feel more like wearing tennis shoes! They seem very durable as well. I'm sure they will last and pay for themselves over time (and they weren't even that much more than the cheapest pairs found elsewhere).

Ordered a Men's size 14M. Received the water shoes in a more than timely manner. The style of the shoe received was slightly diferant than shown, but was actually a more refined and updated design and much more desirable. Fit, style and comfort are impeccable. Look forward to first use on the beaches of Antigua in February and Cancun in March and have no doubt they will up to the task!

As tight as this show was and as hard as it was to get on (even with a shoehorn), it when on was so loose that all manner of sand and rocks got into the shoe. I wore them twice before I threw them in the garbage.

My husband had worn out a different style of Speedo water shoes in size 12 so I ordered these, thinking they looked like a slightly better product. Unlike the others, the opening in these was so small that no matter how hard he tried, he simply could *not* get his foot in! Back they went.
Too bad, because they did look like better-quality water shoes than his initial pair.

Bought these for my husband who has very sensitive feet. I have bought the cheap water shoes from Walmart and they just don't cut it for him. He likes to wade fish in the river and says he'd rather go barefoot b/c the cheap shoes didn't protect his feet-too thin. These worked great when we were snorkeling off the shore in cancun. There was a lot of rock at the beach and they were great at protecting his feet.
