I Like It May 26, 2011
By Ron Z At only $14.95 this is a great buy. I'd be embarrassed to tell you what they clipped me for; that was back in 2010.
The difficulty you encounter with this item is that once you place your AquaBeat into the casing you lose your visual of the buttons. Consequently, locating "on-off" or "louder" and "lower" now becomes a problem for the user to overcome. Use of other features readily exacerbates the problem.
Personally, I just need to turn the thing "on" and occasionally press "louder" or "lower" buttons. Keeping it simple is what suits me best. "Off" is easy--just unplug the jack. There's a hole in the top of the case for the jack.
Okay, I'll tell you: $35. I paid $35 a year ago. So what was I supposed to do--wait until now?
Anyway, the product is comfortable and very well made (of light weight neoprene). It should last forever. Not being a mathematician myself it's hard for me to calculate the price of forever. All I can say is that I'm glad I bought it, albeit at sucker pricing. If you want to use the AquaBeat on your arm this is the only way to go.
If I were you I'd grab it. I doubt if the price will stay at $14.95.
