Secure fit, traction, decent looking Dec 05, 2009
By (Rizzo) Rizzuto The Speedo water shoe is lightweight, decent colors to choose from. The shoe holds on for swimming in pools, or lakes. The sole has plenty of traction for trudging around the sand. Walking on slippery cement becomes safer too.
What is nice about these is that there is no "shoestring". It is secure with a drawstring that keeps tight as needed. There is a grip at the back of the shoe.
The only drawback is that slipping into them is NOT completely easy, but not difficult. These come in several colors.
Great shoe for watersports. ...Rizzo

water shoes Sep 12, 2009

They are not much better thean your standard walmart water shoe, they trap a lot of water in them that does not drain, the padded inner sole falls out easy and is difficult to put back in the shoe smooth. They do dry reasonably quick. I use it maily for Kayaking and launching a boat, traction is ok for these uses

good for one summer, buying a 2nd pair Jul 03, 2011
By NH Chicago I got these for my son last summer, he does landscaping work and kept ruining his regular athletic shoes by stepping in water. They were also good for boating. He didn't swim in the shoes. My son is typically very hard on shoes and wore these almost every day, instead of his sneakers. They lasted for one summer into the fall. Eventually the soles wore thru. My son liked these because they were comfortable, had good traction and look better than most water shoes. This summer he asked me to get him another pair.
Poor lining Mar 26, 2011
By S. Moret These were very good looking and very comfortable until the shoe bottom liner came up and out with the wet foot. The shoe cannot be worn without the liner and the kind of liner you can purchase at the store (i.e. Dr Scholls) won't work in a water shoe, so into the trash after 3 weeks (tried silicone glue, super-glue etc). Save your money and go to a sporting goods place!
