Hardly a solution! Sep 09, 2006
By Alex strakovskiy Yes, there is a difference when using this but protection is weak and not waterproof. I ended up looking for another anti-fog for my swimming goggles.

Good solution Apr 10, 2011
By Xiaochao Zheng I have been purchasing the TYR antifog solution from another website for quite a few years now. It really works for my lap swimming. Each time when I go to the gym, the first thing I do is to put a few drops of this solution on the inside of goggles, then use my fingers to smooth it so it coats the full surface of the goggle. By the time I finish changing and go to the pool, the solution has dried and I do NOT rinse the goggle in cold water until AFTER the workout. This might be different from the factory instructions but it has worked for me for years. The lens would stay clear during my 30-60 minutes swim. After each swim, I rinse the goggles quickly in clean water and then just throw it in my gym bag.
I used to buy new goggles every 1-2 months because the antifog coating wears out quickly from my lap swimming. But after I found this product, each pair can last more than a year until it got too many scratches from being tossed around in the gym bag.
I highly recommend this product.

product helped me solve a longstanding problem Dec 06, 2008

The Tyr drops work. I use them on racquetball goggles, which were always fogging up on me, until I tried the Tyr drops. BUT don't follow the instructions about rubbing the lenses until they are clear. Instead just blot them lightly in order to leave as much as possible of the compound on the lenses. ALSO using spit with some phlegm in it works pretty good too, if used the same way as the drops.
Does the job... Feb 03, 2012
By Triathlete in NEB This TYR Anti-Fog spray keeps the lenses on my Nest Pro goggles clear and I am swimming upwards of 2 miles per workout.
